Français THE SOLAR MOTORWAY IS MOVING FORWARD … (NO PUN INTENDED!)
Readers of ouvrirlesyeux already knew this: the team behind the blog has been focusing its efforts on our solar motorway project – better known by its English acronym, the ‘Solar Highway Project’ – for some time now, which has had a significant impact on the frequency of posts on the blog.
"SWISS SOLAR HIGHWAY PROJECT: AEnergyPier" – undoubtedly the world’s most innovative project in abundant renewable energy this century!
Why?
Because it is the brainchild of a visionary engineer and a TRUE environmentalist, Laurent Jospin. He and his entire team of specialists, EnergyPier, have solved the equation of cost-effective industrial production of affordable energy, without taking up agricultural land...
The future is already underway and it is Swiss-designed, from the country with the strictest quality standards in the world.

We are focusing primarily on several fronts simultaneously, including preparing the planning application, seeking out projects to secure the future, building a strong team, and, above all, finding the best possible financing solution.
Regarding the search for future projects, I am very pleased to be able to inform you that a partnership is gradually taking shape with the “Standort Förderung” of the Knonauer Amt. There appears to be very strong interest in this region in also having a solar motorway up and running quickly. In this region, the project even has a name: A4-KW, which is a play on words combining AKW (nuclear power station in German) and A4, the number of the motorway in question.

We have therefore offered to initiate the studies at our own expense to accelerate large-scale deployment in our country as much as possible.

Returning to the hottest topic of the moment – the funding of the showcase project in Fully – several avenues are currently being explored for this fundraising effort, including complex negotiations with institutions specialising in long-term infrastructure financing, green funds, business angels, crowdfunding, and the use of opportunities offered by blockchain, …
